Metal Detection Calibration Policy & Procedure- মেটাল সনাক্তকরণ নীতিমালা ও কার্যপ্রণালী।

1.     Policy:

It has formulated this policy to keep all types of hazardous metals/fragments free in order to provide extra safety to the garments produced by it in all parts of the factory.

Every staff /department will strictly adhere to this policy to ensure “product safety” product safety.

ফ্যাক্টরির সকল জায়গায় ইহার উৎপাদিত গার্মেন্টস-এর অতিরিক্ত নিরাপত্তা প্রদানের লক্ষ্যে সকল প্রকার ঝুকিপূর্ন ক্ষতিকারক ধাতব/খন্ড মুক্ত রাখার জন্য এই নীতিমালা প্রণয়ন করেছে ।
প্রত্যেক কর্মী / বিভাগ কঠোরভাবে এ নীতিমালা মেনে চলবে যাতে করে “পন্য সামগ্রীর নিরাপত্তা” প্রোডাক্ট সেফটি নিশ্চিত হয় ।

2.     Scope:

Applicable before entering the packing section at the places involved in the production work and especially at the last stage of production.

3.     Mandatory / Obligation:

Each department should have a regulated and documented metal usage and metal detection system. No person will be able to move around with any metal object unnecessarily. A trained operator will operate the metal detection /detection machine and save the report by regularly checking the functionality, calibration, and sensitivity of the metal detection machine.

প্রত্যেক বিভাগে একটি নিয়ন্ত্রিত এবং নথিভূক্ত মেটালের ব্যবহার ও মেটাল ডিটেকশন পদ্ধতি থাকতে হবে। কোন ব্যক্তিই বিনা প্রয়োজনে ধাতবজাত কোন বস্তু নিয়ে যত্রতত্র চলাচল করতে পারবে না । একজন ট্রেইনিং প্রাপ্ত অপারেটর মেটাল ডিটেকশন/সনাক্তকরণ মেশিন অপারেট করবেন এবং নিয়মিত মেটাল সনাক্তকরণ মেশিনের কার্যক্ষমতা, ক্যালিব্রেশন ও সেনসেটিভিটি চেক করে রিপোর্ট সংরক্ষণ করবেন ।

4.     Responsibility:

The Metal Detector Operators, Packing Supervisors, Quality Controllers, Quality Manager, Production Managers and Maintenance Departments are responsible for the proper implementation and follow up of this procedure.

মেটাল ডিটেক্টর অপারেটর, প্যাকিং সুপারভাইজার, কোয়ালিটি কন্ট্রোলার, কোয়ালিটি ম্যানেজার, প্রোডাকশন ম্যানেজার এবং মেইন্টেনেন্স বিভাগ এই পদ্ধতি সঠিক ভাবে বাস্তবায়ন, অনুসরণ করা হচ্ছে কিনা তার জন্য দায়বদ্ধ ।

5.     Procedure:

5.1        Metal detector machine must be operated by trained authorized operator and watch, ring etc. must be kept open. The entrance to the metal detector room must be reserved for someone other than the operator.

5.2        After giving the power switch, if the yellow light comes on, you have to start the work by pressing the start button after 5 minutes.

5.3        To turn off the machine you need to turn off the power switch by pressing the stop button.

5.4        Every 2 consecutive hours the operator has to calibrate the metal detector machine with 0.8mm / 1.0mm / 1.2mm (according to the buyer's requirement) ferrous card. Garments passed through the metal detector machine should be stored in the quarantine area for 2 hours, if for any reason the metal detector fails then the previous 2 hours of production should be re-checked and reported and records should be kept. And if you don't have work, check 3 times a day (8 am, 12 noon and 5 pm) with ferrous card.

5.5        Metal Detection Machine Calibration 9 Point System:

5.6        No more than one garment can be put on the conveyor belt at once.

5.7        The maintenance department should be informed as soon as any problem occurs in the metal detector machine and no garments can be checked on that machine till the machine is fixed.

5.8        If the machine gives any kind of alarm while checking, then the garments should be locked in the specified "Contaminated Red Box" and the record should be kept in the register book.

5.9        If the quantity of garments in the contamination red box is too much, the garments will be thoroughly checked with "Hand Metal Detector Machine" and if the metal can be detected, it will be removed, stored in the register book and delivered to the production floor through the concerned QC.

5.10     If the metal cannot be detected, the garments (every 1 month or 3 months) should be carefully taken to a designated place outside the factory and burned in the presence of the store manager, fire officer, quality manager, production manager, and compliance manager.  And the ashes have to be buried under the ground and records have to be kept.

কার্যপ্রণালীঃ

5.1          ট্রেনিং প্রাপ্ত অনুমোদিত অপারেটর দ্বারা মেটাল ডিটেক্টর মেশিন অপারেটিং করতে হবে এবং ঘড়ি, আংটি ইত্যাদি খুলে রাখতে হবে । মেটাল ডিটেক্টর রুমে অপারেটর ছাড়া অন্য কারো প্রবেশ সংরক্ষিত থাকতে হবে ।

5.2         পাওয়ার সুইচ দেওয়ার পর হলুদ বাতি জ্বললে পাঁচ মিনিট পর স্টার্ট বাটনে চাপ দিয়ে কাজ শুরু করতে হবে ।

5.3         মেশিন বন্ধ করার জন্য স্টপ বাটনে চাপ দিয়ে পাওয়ার সুইচ বন্ধ করতে হবে ।

5.4         প্রতি ২ ঘন্টা পরপর অপারেটর মেটাল ডিটেক্টর মেশিন 0.8mm/ 1.0mm/ 1.2mm (বায়ার রিকোয়ারমেন্ট অনুযায়ী) ফেরাস কার্ড দিয়ে ক্যালিব্রেশন করতে হবে । মেটাল ডিটেক্টর মেশিন এ পাস করা গার্মেন্টস 2 ঘন্টা  করে কোয়ারেন্টাইন এরিয়াতে জমা রাখতে হবে, যদি কোনো কারণে মেটাল ডিটেক্টর ফেল করে তাহলে পূর্বের ২ ঘণ্টার প্রোডাকশন পুনরায় চেক করে রিপোর্ট করতে হবে এবং রেকর্ড রাখতে হবে । আর কাজ না থাকলে ঐ দিন ৩ বার (সকাল ৮ টা, দুপুর ১২ টা এবং বিকাল ৫ টা) ফেরাস কার্ড দিয়ে চেক করবে ।

5.5         ধাতু সনাক্তকরণ মেশিনের ক্যালিব্রেশন 9 পয়েন্ট সিস্টেম ঃ

5.6         একের অধিক গার্মেন্টস একসাথে কনভেয়ার বেল্টের উপর দেয়া যাবে না ।

5.7         মেটাল ডিটেক্টর মেশিনে কোন সমস্যা দেখা দেওয়ার সাথে সাথে মেইন্টেন্যান্স বিভাগকে অবহিত করতে হবে এবং মেশিন ঠিক না হওয়া পর্যন্ত ঐ মেশিনে কোন গার্মেন্টস চেক করা যাবে না ।

5.8         চেক করার সময় যদি মেশিন কোন প্রকার এলার্ম দেয় তখন সেই গার্মেন্টস নির্দিষ্ট “কন্টামিনেটেড রেড বক্সে”- এ তালা বন্ধ করে রেখে রেজিষ্টার বুকে রেকর্ড সংরক্ষণ করতে হবে ।

5.9         কন্টামিনেটেড রেড বক্সে গার্মেন্টসের পরিমাণ বেশী হয়ে গেলে সেই গার্মেন্টস সমূহ “হ্যান্ড মেটাল ডিটেক্টর মেশিন” দিয়ে পুঙ্খানুরুপে চেক করে যদি মেটাল সনাক্ত করা যায় তবে তা অপসারন করে রেজিস্টার বুকে রেকর্ড সংরক্ষণ করে সংশ্লিষ্ট কিউ.সি-র মাধ্যমে প্রোডাকশন ফ্লোরে দিবে ।

5.10       যদি মেটাল সনাক্ত করা না যায় তবে সেই গার্মেন্টস সমূহ (১ মাস অথবা ৩ মাস অন্তর অন্তর) সাবধান তার সাথে কারখানার বাহিরে নির্দিষ্ট স্থানে নিয়ে স্টোর ম্যানেজার, ফায়ার অফিসার, কোয়ালিটি ম্যানেজার, প্রোডাকশন ম্যানেজার, ও কমপ্লায়েন্স ম্যানেজার বিভাগের প্রতিনিধি দের উপস্থিতিতে গার্মেন্টস গুলো পুড়িয়ে ছাইগুলো মাটির নিচে পুতে ফেলতে হবে এবং রেজিস্টার বুকে রেকর্ড সংরক্ষণ করতে হবে ।
